Split shared purchases, down to the last item. Add a cash or card purchase yourself, or connect a supported U.S. bank or credit card through Plaid. Split works without a bank connection, and an account is optional for purchases and splits saved on your iPhone. CHOOSE HOW TO SPLIT Divide the total equally, enter custom amounts, or split by receipt item. Import a receipt using your camera, Photos, or a PDF. Review the recognized items, then assign each one to a friend or share it among several people. LET FRIENDS CLAIM ITEMS With a Split account, send each friend a private link to choose their items in a browser. Friends do not need to install the app. You can still assign everything yourself. Review all items, tax, tip, and each person's total before finalizing. PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF Unfinished splits save as drafts. Find purchases with date and category filters, and sort them newest first, oldest first, or by amount. SHARE A CLEAR REQUEST Add your Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle details. Split prepares an individual request that you can review and send through Apple Messages or another app. You choose when to send each message. Your normal phone plan applies. KEEP TRACK OF WHAT IS OWED See unpaid shares and mark them paid after you receive the money. Split does not transfer funds or independently confirm payments. Receipt photos, PDFs, and recognition stay on your iPhone. If you share an itemized draft, its item details and participant names are visible through the private links you send. An optional account saves your tab across your iPhones. Split supports U.S. dollar purchases and English receipt recognition. Check scanned amounts before finalizing. Bank availability and transaction timing depend on your institution and Plaid; pending purchases may change before posting.
