iPhone
Your friends. Your music videos. Questionable taste.
Pick a theme, watch together, then vote for a winner.
Free to host. Free to join. No accounts.
Music Video Night is a party game for friends in the same room. Everyone brings one YouTube music video that fits the theme. The videos play in sync, the chat has opinions, and a final vote decides who wins the Night.
PICK YOUR KIND OF CHAOS
80s Divas. Gay Music Video Night. Rap Night. Sad Bangers. Choose the mood, then make your case with one video.
HERE'S THE NIGHT
- The host picks a theme. Friends join on their iPhones with a 5-letter code.
- Take turns submitting one video each.
- Watch together, chat and throw emoji reactions.
- Veto an upcoming pick if enough of the room agrees.
- Vote on a ballot that hides the pickers' names. Most votes wins.
BIG SCREEN. BIGGER OPINIONS.
Use Screen Mirroring to an Apple TV or connect a compatible HDMI adapter. The TV shows the video with chat beside it. The host keeps chat and controls on their phone, including pause for the whole room.
A TV is optional. You can play on your phones.
FREE HOST. FREE GUESTS.
Host a full Night with Wildcard, Guilty Pleasures, One-Hit Wonders or Thriller Night. Joining is always free, including when the host chooses an unlocked theme. Your Night history and shareable recap card are free too. Send the receipts to the group chat.
MORE THEMES. MORE BRAGGING RIGHTS.
One optional Unlock Everything purchase adds all 26 built-in themes, custom themes, an animated recap video reel, the Hall of Fame and a VIP badge. No subscription. Guests never need the upgrade to join.
SAME ROOM. NO SIGN-UP.
Phones connect locally over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. No account or email required. Internet access is needed for YouTube videos.
Ratings & Reviews
A whole new look. A new icon, a brighter Host button, and a winner screen that puts the winner front and center - crown and all. Your own pick is clearly labelled when you vote, the chat is easier to read, and Past Nights and the unlock screen got some new art.
