VolumeDirector gives every app on your Mac its own volume control and audio output—all from the menu bar.
Turn down a browser without lowering your music. Send a call to your headphones while keeping another app on your speakers. Mute one app without affecting the rest of your Mac.

VolumeDirector is a lightweight native menu-bar utility. It installs no virtual audio driver or system extension. Audio is processed locally in memory and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. The app includes no account, telemetry, analytics, or advertising.
Requires macOS 15 or later on an Apple silicon Mac. AirPlay, Intel Macs, volume boost, browser-tab routing, and per-app microphone routing are not supported in this release.
