CoffeeLock automatically keeps your Mac from sleeping – exactly when it matters, and not a second longer than necessary.
Long render jobs, AI training, image generation or large downloads often run in the background while you're not actively using your Mac. macOS can go to sleep in this situation – pausing a running job or interrupting a download.
The classic fix is running caffeinate -s in Terminal. It works, but has to be started manually every time and stopped again afterward.
CoffeeLock does this automatically: the app monitors CPU, GPU and network load through native macOS APIs and activates sleep protection only while your Mac is actually busy.
Your display still turns off normally. CoffeeLock only prevents your Mac from going into idle sleep – your configured display sleep timer stays unchanged.

CoffeeLock now also keeps your Mac awake while a large download or upload is running – for example when fetching large AI models, where neither CPU nor GPU is heavily loaded. The trigger is on by default, and its threshold is adjustable in the menu, just like GPU and CPU.
