Chapter 2: Teth. The pod comes down on the moon where it all started. Five more rooms, twenty more puzzles, a language of light to learn, and someone out there who decides to help. Chapter 2 is free for everyone who finished Chapter 1.
Made by two siblings who play puzzle games together on the iPad. Grab someone and solve it side by side.
The Quiet is a painted-style escape room adventure in two chapters. Chapter 1 is set aboard a derelict research station: the dead airlock control deck, a medical bay with a story on its whiteboard, the crew quarters, a sealed containment lab, and the pod bay where the final choice is made. Chapter 2 picks up on the surface of Teth.
- Forty-two chained puzzles across ten rooms: wiring, pressure valves, ciphers, a chessboard, a microscope, a rotary comms dial, a language of light and more.
- Fixed wide shots with tap-to-zoom close-ups. Drag items from your inventory onto the world.
- Painted-style semi-realistic art, an original ambient score, and sound made for every mechanism.
- Read the crew's logs and piece together why the station went silent. The ending is decided by what you understood, not by reflexes.
- Memory flashes reveal your own past as the power comes back on.
- Three-tier hints when you're stuck. One free hint per room, in every chapter; buy more only if you want them, and they work in every chapter. No ads, no timers, no accounts.
- Plays offline. Autosaves after every action. Achievements for a clean run.
About two hours of play. Landscape only, for iPhone and iPad.
Don’t really know what is going on. The clues are sparse and don’t make much sense. I’m stuck at what I think is the airlock that says: The reader blinks amber. Waiting. You have to pay for hints.
Developer Response
Thank you for trying The Quiet, and sorry you got stuck. At the airlock, the reader is waiting for the keycard the console gives you when the override enables: drag it from your inventory onto the blinking reader. Every room has a free hint (the lamp, bottom left), and since that update we have been working on making the first hint on every puzzle free, so nobody has to pay just to get unstuck. We hope you give the station another try.
The Chapter 2: Teth event on the App Store now opens the game right at the chapter.
New in Settings: a switch to share anonymous play data. It shows us which puzzles people get stuck on, so we can make the rooms and hints better. No account, nothing tied to you, and you can turn it off anytime.
Small fixes.
