No account. No social network. No synchronization. Just your memories.
MEMOROLL is a notes app that is ready the moment you open it: note it the moment it comes to mind.
When you open the app, the cursor is already in the input box. No titles, no folders. Write it down and save. Your notes are kept in order of time, and you can look back at them by date, on a map, in a calendar, or through search. Used every day, it becomes a record of your days.
■ Write the moment you open it
The input box is ready at launch. Short or long, with or without a photo.
■ Your day's path on a map
Notes with location appear on a map. Each day's notes are numbered in order and joined by a line. (Location recording can be turned off in Settings.)
■ The day ends at 4 a.m.
A note written late at night stays with today instead of jumping to tomorrow.
■ Look back in the calendar
Days you wrote on are marked. Flip through the months and open any day as it was.
■ Stars and tasks
Star a note you want to keep. Mark one as a task to deal with later. Each has its own list.
■ Tags and full-text search
Write # in the text and it becomes a tag. Search the full text of your notes.
■ Photos too
Attach photos from the camera or your library. They are made lighter when saved.
■ On your device only
Notes and photos are stored in a database on your device. There is no account, and nothing is sent to our servers. No advertising, tracking or analytics SDKs.
■ A copy in your own iCloud Drive
Each time you write, the latest notes and photos are copied to the MEMOROLL folder in your own iCloud Drive. The weekly automatic backup goes there too. Restore from it on a new iPhone. You can turn it off.
■ Export and import as ZIP
Bundle all your data into a ZIP and keep it wherever you like.
No sync. No sharing. Write alone, read it back later. That is all this app is for.

A steadier map.
- Fixed an issue on older iPhones where the map could freeze, or the screen could turn white, after zooming in and out repeatedly
- The map no longer rotates or tilts; two fingers now only zoom
- Grouped pins stay in place as you zoom
- On devices that can't display the map, you now see a short message instead of a blank screen
