Moye is a fast, local-first Markdown reader. It opens the .md files that coding agents, note apps and chat tools hand you — from your file manager, from "Open with", or from the share sheet — and renders them properly: headings, tables, code with syntax highlighting, math, Mermaid diagrams, GitHub-style callouts, footnotes, task lists and front matter. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE Moye has no network code. Not "we promise not to upload" — there is no code that could. No account, no sign-in, no cloud sync, no analytics, no ads, no telemetry. Your documents stay in the folder you opened them from. The app's privacy declaration is short because there is nothing to declare. BUILT FOR BIG DOCUMENTS Long documents stay smooth. Only the part you are looking at is rendered, so a two-thousand-line file opens as quickly as a short one. Your reading position is remembered per file, down to the line. READ AND EDIT Switch to the editor to fix a typo or add a note, and save back to the same file. The preview follows as you scroll. A contents list, in-document search, and find-and-step-through results are all there. MAKE IT YOURS Dark mode, adjustable type size, and a choice of reading width. Five languages: English, 简体中文, 繁體中文, 日本語, Deutsch. SHARE IT ON Send a document straight to Messages, Mail, WeChat or anywhere else through the system share sheet. WHAT IT IS NOT It is not a cloud service and it does not sync. It is not a note database — your files stay files, in your folders, readable by anything else. There is no subscription.
