Compress: Photos & Videos
Reduce to an exact MB or KB
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Name the maximum file size you need. It finds the highest quality that still fits under it, and it does the whole job on your phone.
Most compressors hand you a quality slider and let you find out afterwards how big the file came out. This one works the other way around. You name the number, and after every attempt it re-measures the actual encoded file rather than estimating, so the size you are shown is the real, final size.
WHEN YOU NEED AN EXACT SIZE
• Email attachments that bounce over 25 MB
• Upload forms that refuse anything above 2 MB
• Chat apps and forums with their own hard limits
• Freeing up space without deleting the photo
WHAT IT DOES
• Photos and videos, with separate size presets for each
• Any target you like, including a custom size you type in
• Keeps the capture date, GPS and orientation by default
• Never hands back a file bigger than the one you gave it. If a photo is already small enough, it tells you and keeps your original untouched
• Saves to Photos or Files, or straight to the share sheet
• Available in 11 languages, switchable from inside the app
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
All compression runs on your device. Your photos and videos are never uploaded, and the app contains no tracking and no analytics. It works in airplane mode.
FREE, AND WHAT PRO ADDS
Free is a complete app for one file at a time: any target size including a custom one, saved anywhere you like, with metadata and resolution untouched. Exact-size targeting is the whole point of this app, so it is not something you have to pay for.
Pro adds volume and control:
• Batch compression, up to 500 files in one run
• More Options: Smallest possible, resolution limits, metadata handling and output format
• Replace Original, which swaps the compressed file in for the original to reclaim the space, always behind a confirmation
• Editable target size presets
Pro is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription and nothing renews.

Ratings & Reviews
Better video quality:
• "Smallest possible" now keeps videos looking like the original, including Slo-mo, Cinematic, ProRes and 60, 120 and 240 fps footage.
• HDR videos stay HDR at every size you choose.
• More Options now opens for everyone, so you can see what Pro adds.
• Fixed Pro sometimes not being available right after opening the app.
As always: everything happens 100% on your device. No uploads, no tracking, ever.
