Reactions. Press and hold Like on any post to react with Fire, Congrats, Haha, Strong or Trophy, or tap + to choose from about 600 animated emoji. Each post shows its top reactions and who reacted. A quick tap is still a like. GIFs. Add a GIF from GIPHY to a comment, a thread on a mark or a message. The GIF button opens on your recent GIFs and what's trending, and you can search GIPHY too. Only GIFs rated G are offered. A new app icon that fills its whole shape. Also: many smaller fixes.

The Feed. Home is now the Feed: today's practice on top, then posts from your team and circles, newest first. Every mark you log and every goal you set posts there for your teammates, coaches, parents and circle to like and comment on, and you can post a few words with a photo or a video. Turn sharing off in Settings, Feed sharing. One page for each athlete. Tap a name anywhere to see their posts and bests. Coaches also get Message, the athlete's events (tap Edit to add or remove one), their goals, race predictions and recent marks to leave feedback on, and can change an athlete's goal right from the Feed. Goals, step by step. Choose the event, the season (or another season up to three years ahead), your target and an optional date. Each event on Progress shows its goal and how far you have to go. Race predictions. What your best recent meet race says you could run at other distances, your goal's pace per mile and per lap, and training paces, checked against Jack Daniels' published tables. Fueling. What to eat and drink around training and races, from the groups that write the guidance. Coaches can add notes for their team. Messages. Coaches and parents can message each other, and every circle has its own group chat. Video. Comment on and draw over any shared video, and talk it through with your coach. Also: the 1.5 Mile and 2.5 Mile cross country races, a guide to bringing Garmin or Strava runs in through Apple Health, and many smaller fixes.

A new look. Every screen is redesigned: big broadcast-style titles, glass cards over a soft glow, and smoother movement throughout. Tilt your phone and the big titles catch the light. Know where you stand for every practice. You're down as coming unless you say otherwise. "Can't make it?" is right on Home, and what your coach marked you (here, late, excused, injured) shows on Home, on the practice and on its card in Training. Check-in, your way (coaches). On the team page, choose "Everyone is here unless I mark them" or "Nobody is in until I check them in". Every practice has an Attendance list of the whole team, with Check everyone in and a one tap Check in for whoever arrives late. Attendance over time (coaches). Team Analytics now has an Attendance view: the team's attendance practice by practice, who is missing practices, who is often late and who is always there. Comments in Circles. Comment on a mark or video someone shared in your circle. Everyone in the circle sees every comment, and the athlete or their parent can remove any comment on the athlete's marks. Video review. Watch a mark's video in slow motion, or step through it frame by frame. My season. Athletes can make a card of their season bests and PRs from meets in the Media Room. Plus smaller fixes and improvements.

Can't make it? Open a practice and tell your coach you are injured, unwell or away, with a note if you like. Your coach is told right away and decides if you are excused. Changed your mind? One tap takes it back. Practice reminders. Athletes and parents get one reminder before each practice and meet, with the time and the place, and never overnight. Coaches choose when on the team page, or turn them off. Seasons. Indoor and outdoor PRs are kept apart, PRs come from your meets, and practice marks get a practice best of their own. Goals are set for a season, and coaches check their season dates on the team page. Team QR code. Coaches can show the team code as a QR code at a team meeting, share the link, or print a one page sign up sheet. Files on announcements. Coaches can attach up to three PDFs or pictures to an announcement, like a meet packet or a permission slip. Approve all. Coaches can let everyone waiting to join in with one tap, and the Athletes tab shows them as soon as you go back to it. A cancelled practice is now crossed out on the Training tab, with the coach's reason. Plus smaller fixes and improvements.

Media Room. Every team now has a shared space for its logo, mascot, colors and saved templates. Turn a logged mark into a result card in your team's colors, ready to save or share, and coaches can make a recap of a meet. Photos you add to a graphic stay on your phone. If you would rather not appear in team graphics, turn on "Leave me out of team graphics" in Settings. Help and support. FieldSync Support is at the top of Messages. Choose what it's about, write to us, add screenshots if they help, and our replies come back in the app. Press and hold any chat in Messages to mute or unmute it. Parents who signed up with an athlete account by mistake can switch it to a parent account in Settings. The Media Room and videos are marked Beta while we keep a close eye on them. Tap the label to report a problem. Plus smaller fixes and improvements.

Add a short video to a jump or a throw, up to 15 seconds. You choose who can watch it: only you, your coaches, your whole team, or your team and your Circles. Your notes on the mark go with it, and you can remove a video at any time. Every team now has a team chat for its athletes and coaches, at the top of Messages. It opens once a team has two adults on it, such as a head coach and an assistant coach. You can mute any chat from the bell at the top. A muted chat sends no notifications, and you stay in it. Log your own training. Runs, rides, elliptical sessions, swims and lifts you do on your own can be added from the Training tab, with how long, how far and how it felt. Your coaches can see them on your page. On Progress, you can now see when your coach last looked at your marks. For coaches, Team Analytics shows one line per athlete with their latest mark and how it compares with their last one. Sort by latest, improving, slipping or name, then tap an athlete to see every mark in that event, their goal for it, and leave feedback on any mark. Plus smaller fixes and improvements.

There's a FieldSync widget now. It shows your next practice or meet and which team it's for, on your Home Screen or Lock Screen, and it updates itself when a practice is moved, cancelled or put on hold. To add it, touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, open the widget list and search for FieldSync. It needs iOS 17 or later. A lightning hold, or a practice cancelled or moved at the last minute, now comes through as a Time Sensitive notification, so it can still reach you when a Focus is on. Notifications are grouped by team and by conversation, and a newer update about a practice replaces the older one. The number on the app icon counts only what needs you, and it clears once you've seen it. You can reply to a message from its notification. Touch and hold the app icon for shortcuts, like logging a result or opening your messages. FieldSync links, like an invite to join a team, open straight in the app. Apple Health brings in more from your watch. Each run on the Runs screen shows things like heart rate, cadence and climb, and your other workouts are listed there too. Your iPhone will ask once more which Health data to share. You can delete everything FieldSync brought in from Health in Settings. FieldSync still never reads your location and never writes to Health. Parents can open and answer the chats they've been added to. When you sign up, you can pick your school or club from a list as you type. The app is easier to read and works better with larger text and VoiceOver. Text has more contrast, charts describe themselves, splits open the number keyboard, and buttons that were hard to tap are bigger. Help, safety tips and the privacy policy are in Settings. More control for coaches over who's on the team. Coaches can choose to approve athletes before they join. Someone who uses the team code asks to join, the coaches get a notification, and they approve or decline from the Team page. Athletes see that they're waiting, and they can cancel the request. Coaches can remove an athlete from the roster, and an owner can hand the team to another coach. A coach who deletes their account no longer takes their athletes' history with them. Workouts and feedback stay with the athletes. The app now asks about notifications on a full screen the first time you open it, so you don't miss practices, changes or announcements. Plus fixes from our testers.

Built for bringing a whole team on at once. Coaches can send one announcement to the whole team, parents included. It arrives as a notification and an email, and it stays on everyone's screen until they've read it. You can see who has read it. A session sent to a group now shows as one card with everyone's splits. You can search your roster, see at a glance who hasn't picked their events yet, and get one email each evening listing who joined, instead of one per athlete. Athletes can mark a rep done without a time, get a quick check when a split looks wrong, and join the team from anywhere they type the code. Parents get a clearer view of the teams they follow, and requests to follow a team are easy for coaches to spot. Video is on hold for now and will be back.

A big update for coaches and athletes. Coaches can write running sessions from scratch or reuse their recent ones, set a target with their own margin, repeat timed efforts like 3 x 10 minutes, and write distances in metres, kilometres or miles. Everything you've prescribed now lives on its own Workouts tab, where you can see each athlete's splits and leave them feedback. Athletes can tell their coach how a session went, see their personal best in every event, and earn badges for logging, streaks and new bests. Parents can now have their own account to follow the team schedule, and Circles let athletes share progress with friends and family. Also new: sign in with Apple or Google, weather alerts on practices, first and last names, and a cleaner Settings page. Plus plenty of fixes, including the keyboard no longer covering what you're typing.
