Shoebox is built for rideshare, delivery and other gig drivers. It keeps your receipt and mileage records together, maps expenses to common Schedule C lines, and prepares clean CSV and PDF exports — without asking for a bank login or an account.
SCAN RECEIPTS ON DEVICE
Photograph a receipt or choose one from your library. Shoebox reads the merchant, date, total, tax and category on your device, then shows every field for review before saving.
MAKE CATEGORIES YOUR OWN
Add custom expense categories, rename existing ones, and archive or restore categories as your work changes. Archived categories stay on your existing receipts. Link each custom category to a Schedule C category to keep reports and exports organised for tax time.
LOG BUSINESS MILES
Add drives by hand or enable automatic mileage tracking. Mark each trip as business or personal, record the platform and purpose, and see your running business-mile total and estimated standard-mileage deduction.
SEE THE YEAR TAKE SHAPE
Reports show deductions month by month, by quarter and by Schedule C category. Spot unconfirmed records, busiest months, top merchants and common tags while there is still time to fix the books.
EXPORT FOR TAX TIME
Create a detailed CSV for your accountant or spreadsheet and a readable PDF summary with Schedule C line mappings, mileage totals and records that still need review.

FREE TO START
Manually enter as many receipts and drives as you need, export CSV for free, and use five successful scans per calendar month. Re-reads count toward the allowance; failed scans do not. Shoebox Pro adds unlimited scans, automatic mileage tracking and PDF tax reports.
SHOEBOX PRO
Choose a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription. Eligible new subscribers can try the annual plan free for seven days. Prices and any trial offer are shown in the app before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The annual trial converts to a paid annual subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings.
