AEY Mobile is a travel eSIM app made in France by independent developer Marion Lemesle. Pick your destination, pay for a data plan and install the eSIM from the app: you get mobile data abroad without swapping SIM cards.
FIND YOUR DESTINATION
• Browse more than 170 destinations and their prices, no account needed.
• Search by country name, or filter by region: Europe, Asia, Africa, Americas, Oceania.
• 4G or 5G depending on the country.
THE RIGHT DATA PLAN
• Enter your trip length, from 3 to 30 days, and your usage: light, moderate or heavy.
• The app recommends a plan and shows its price per day.
• Your plan’s countdown starts when you arrive.
EASY SETUP
• Install the eSIM straight from the app on iOS 17.4 or later.
• Otherwise, scan a QR code from another device, or copy the codes into Settings.
• Keep your number, calls and texts: the eSIM is added alongside your usual line.
• A step-by-step guide on each eSIM: install it, turn it on when you arrive, turn it off when you’re back.
TRACK AND TOP UP
• “My eSIMs” shows your remaining data in GB and as a percentage. Pull down to refresh it.
• The “Top up” button adds data and days to the same eSIM, without reinstalling it, when your plan allows it. If it doesn’t, the app suggests a new plan.
PAY AND SIGN IN
• Pay by card or Apple Pay, in euros, through Stripe.
• Sign in with Apple, or with your email and a 6-digit code. No password.
YOUR ACCOUNT, YOUR PRIVACY
• No ads, no tracking.
• Delete your account at any time from the app.
• The app is available in 21 languages, including Arabic and Hebrew (right to left). It follows your iPhone’s language, and you can change it in Account.
The eSIMs in this app provide mobile data only: your calls and texts stay on your usual line, under your carrier’s usual terms.
