Bring every edit to life with a growing collection of creative transitions, visual effects, filters, masks, blend modes, and professional color controls. Remove backgrounds using on-device person detection, add customizable outlines, place titles behind subjects, and animate clips, overlays, text, and graphics using keyframes.
Make your message stand out with fully customizable text. Choose fonts, colors, alignment, backgrounds, shadows, strokes, glow, spacing, and curved text styles. Position and resize text directly on the preview for precise creative control.
Generate automatic timed captions from your video or complete timeline audio. Review the transcript, correct individual words, adjust caption timing and appearance, search through spoken content, and import or export subtitles using SRT files.
Take control of your sound with multiple audio tracks, music, voiceovers, sound effects, volume adjustments, and fade controls. Extract audio directly from videos and use dialogue-cleanup tools to reduce background noise, hum, rumble, harsh sounds, and inconsistent volume while preserving the original recording.

What’s new
Record in Mixtape: film with the front camera, the back camera, or both at once (on iPhone XS/XR and newer), with a teleprompter. Your takes stay in the app until you export.
New Project: start from Photos & Videos or a fresh recording. Use “+” after a clip to add more.
Smoother overlays: drag the corner to resize, swing it to rotate, or twist with two fingers. RESIZE gives exact size, angle and position.
Overlay STYLE: rounded corners, borders and shadows, with one-tap looks.
Stickers: trim them from the timeline and make them as long as you like.
Fixes: text, stickers and overlays now stay with their clip when you add or remove clips.
