Select the email, press Control-Option-C and the appointment is in your calendar: date, time, place and meeting link. All on your Mac, no email ever leaves it. An invitation arrives by email. To get it into your calendar you open Calendar, copy the title, re-read the date, set the time, paste the meeting link. MailAutoCalendar does it with one shortcut. Select the email in Mail and press Control-Option-C. MailAutoCalendar finds the date, time, place and meeting link and creates the event. A notification confirms it and lets you undo it. WHAT IT DOES • Reads the email selected in Mail and works out the appointment • Uses the attached calendar invitation (.ics) when there is one • Otherwise analyses the text with the on-device Apple Intelligence model, when it's on, or with macOS date detection • Recognises Zoom, Teams, Meet and Webex links and puts them in the event's location • Keeps a link back to the original email and avoids duplicates • Works in English and Italian HOW TO USE IT • Shortcut Control-Option-C, the menu bar icon, or Mail › Services • Pick the calendar: the macOS default or any of yours • If you use Fantastical, you can send events there • Adjustable default duration for emails that don't give an end time • A built-in sample email to try it right away PRIVACY Your emails stay on your Mac. MailAutoCalendar reads only the email you select, and only when you ask. It makes no network requests, has no accounts and collects no data. FREE The app is free and complete.
