Dawām now speaks your language. Seven languages - Choose English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese or Swahili. Every screen changes with you, along with the Quran translation and the hadith. - Tap a language to try it before you decide. The app suggests the one for your region. - Countries and cities appear in your language, and you can search for them in it too. - Daily cards, reminders and the Zakat guide follow your language as well. Set for where you live - Zakat uses your local currency automatically. - Prayer times use the calculation method common in your region. - A new Asr setting: Automatic, Standard or Hanafi. - You can change any of these in Settings, and your chosen calculation method is now remembered. Update today and use Dawām in your own language.

The adhan, at every prayer • A recorded adhan now sounds at each prayer time, with its own Fajr adhan. The recordings are stored in the app, so they play with no signal. • The notification plays the opening of the adhan. Tap it to hear the rest in full. • With Dawām open at prayer time, the full adhan plays, with a Stop button at the top. • Adhan notifications come through a Focus, unless you turn that off. • On iOS 26 and later, turn on Ring on silent and each adhan also rings as an alarm, through the silent switch and Focus. • Choose Adhan or Notification sound for each prayer, and listen to each adhan in Settings. Also new • Dawām tells you when a newer version is ready in the App Store. • In the Hijri calendar, every week now lines up under its own weekday on every screen size.

The Quran, as the Madinah Mushaf prints it • Every page is now set in the King Fahd Complex's own page fonts: 604 pages of 15 lines, line for line as printed, with no stretched gaps between words. • Al-Fatihah and the opening of Al-Baqarah keep the rounded shape of the print. • Page numbers are in Arabic numerals, as in the print. • The pages follow your theme: Light, Cream, Dark, Dim, Dim Green or Brown. • On iPad, the page keeps the print's proportions. • Pages download as you read and stay on your phone. Download now, under Keep on device, saves all 604 pages (about 125 MB) so every page opens with no signal. • Tajweed colours are still in the reading settings. Khatmah • Plan to read the whole Quran over 7 to 60 days, a number of your own, or to the end of Ramadan. • Today's portion is worked out from what is left, so a missed day spreads over the days that remain and reading ahead lightens the rest. • Pages count as you read them in the mushaf. Mark a portion read elsewhere, or record where you reached in a printed mushaf. • An optional daily reminder names today's pages, and every khatmah you finish is kept. Qibla • On phones with no compass chip, the dial now turns with the phone. Point it once, from the sun, a short walk or by dragging the dial. Hijri calendar • Tap Today to see the date and what falls on it. • The White Days now appear as an event. • Share any event. • The moon's phase is named correctly.
