No weather icons. No unnecessary colors. TYPE/CAST presents temperature, rain, wind, and upcoming changes through words, dots, lines, and forms—like a living poster.
Weather doesn’t always need icons.
TYPE/CAST is a weather app designed around words and typography. There are no complex colors and no traditional weather icons. Black, white, and gray create a calm, direct visual language that keeps the forecast easy to understand.
See the current temperature, feels-like temperature, daily highs and lows, chance of precipitation, humidity, wind direction, wind speed, sunrise, and sunset.
Explore current conditions, changes over the next 24 hours, and the 10-day outlook. Search for cities and experience the weather in each place through a distinct typographic composition.
Dots become rain.
Lines become wind.
Blocks reveal changes in temperature.
TYPE/CAST transforms the forecast into a living poster—minimal, clear, and expressive.
Weather, set in type.
