Number to Words: WriteSum
English & Chinese for Cheques
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Your amount. In words. Ready to copy.
Write the next cheque, finish the next contract, or prepare the next invoice with the amount wording already at hand. WriteSum turns numbers into English words, Traditional Chinese financial numerals and Simplified Chinese financial numerals. Enter an amount once and see all three results together on the same page, ready to copy or share.
THREE RESULTS, ONE PAGE
• See English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese wording together, without switching result languages.
• Each result has its own Copy and Share actions.
• Choose your interface language in Settings. All three results remain available, whichever language you choose.
• Your interface language, mode and currency are remembered for next time.
READY FOR EVERYDAY PAPERWORK
• Cheque mode adds currency names, fractional amounts and closing wording for Hong Kong dollars, renminbi and US dollars.
• Plain mode gives you number wording for contracts, invoices, reports and payment documents.
• Supports up to 12 integer digits and two decimal places.
COPY, SHARE AND KEEP MOVING
• Paste an amount, or enter it with the keypad or an external keyboard.
• Copy in one tap or send the wording through the system share sheet.
• Reuse up to 20 recent copied or shared conversions. Delete records, clear history or pause saving whenever you choose.
• Read on iPhone or iPad, with layouts that adapt to your window and support larger text.
FREE. OFFLINE. NO ADS.
No account to create and no ads. Conversions run entirely on your device, with no uploads by WriteSum and no tracking. Open it whenever you need an amount in words, even without an internet connection.
Currency selection changes the wording only; it does not perform currency conversion. WriteSum does not provide legal or banking advice. Check both the numeric and written amounts before signing or issuing a cheque, as requirements vary by bank and document.
