Personalize your desktop with image, video and GIF wallpapers, per-display controls, local AI upscaling and energy-saving pause options. Bring your desktop to life with your own images, videos and GIFs using Astrowall. Two sample videos are added to your library on first launch. Choose to use or delete them; they never start playing automatically. YOUR LIBRARY, YOUR DISPLAYS Drag in your files and keep a copy in the app's library. Rename, search, sort and favorite your wallpapers. Choose a wallpaper for each display and restore saved settings when a monitor reconnects. CONTROL THE DETAILS Adjust placement, zoom and position. Set video frame-rate and resolution limits, mute audio or adjust the volume. Customize app keyboard shortcuts and turn individual shortcuts on or off. PAUSE WHEN IT MAKES SENSE Configure battery-level, low-power and temperature pause options. Pause video when other windows cover a chosen percentage of a display, including maximized windows that are not in full-screen mode. CREATE LOCALLY Upscale eligible low-resolution videos with local AI processing and a short comparison preview. Arrange multiple videos into a combined wallpaper video. Conversion tasks run one at a time. Processing speed and results depend on your device and source media. TRY BEFORE YOU BUY Start a free 3-day trial through an in-app purchase. The trial lasts 72 consecutive hours from the trial purchase and is available once per App Store account. After it ends, wallpaper playback, audio and new AI/composition tasks require a one-time Lifetime Access purchase. Your library and completed files are not deleted. There is no subscription or automatic charge. See the app for your local purchase price. Purchases can be restored with the same App Store account. Supports English, Korean, Japanese, Spanish and Simplified Chinese. Bring your own media and use files you have permission to use. AI processing runs locally, not on a cloud rendering service.
