ValveDyn Pro is an engineering tool for reciprocating compressor valves. It simulates how the valve actually moves over a full crank revolution and tells you whether a design will last — and why. VALVE DYNAMICS, NOT A SINGLE-POINT CHECK • RK4 ODE simulation of the valve plate or rings: lift, bounce count, impact velocity and open fraction for suction and discharge, head end and crank end • Valve losses, capacity and P–V indicator diagram with indicated work and pressure drops • Plate, ring, multi-ring and poppet valve types A HEALTH SCORE YOU CAN TAKE APART • A score out of 120 built from gas velocity, valve loss, bounce, flutter, impact velocity and sealing • Each check listed against its source and limit: API 618 gas velocity, Frenkel flow-area and lift criteria, spring and ring stresses — including the checks that fail • Estimated service life and recommended ring and plate materials OPTIMIZER • Sweeps lift, spring rate, ring or plate mass, preload and slot width • Ranks thousands of candidates, shows the distribution and the Pareto trade-offs, and flags when no feasible design exists and which constraint blocks it • Optimize one stage or all stages of a multi-stage machine MULTI-STAGE MACHINES AND REAL GAS • Machines with several stages: interstage conditions, intercooling and total power • Gas mixtures with Peng-Robinson or AGA-8 properties: Z-factor, real k, density REPORTS AND FILES • Client-ready PDF reports with parameters, per-stage performance and health scores • Project files (.vdp) open from Files, AirDrop and iCloud Drive, and are fully compatible with ValveDyn Pro for Mac • Built-in formula reference SUBSCRIPTION ValveDyn Pro is free to download. Without a subscription you can open, edit and share projects. Calculations, the optimizer, multi-stage analysis and PDF export require ValveDyn Pro — Yearly, an auto-renewable subscription with a one-month free trial for new subscribers. You confirm the purchase when you start the trial; your Apple Account is charged when the trial ends. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Customers with a ValveDyn Pro licence key from Kaydani Compressor Engineering can enter it in the app instead. Results are engineering aids and must be verified by a qualified engineer before they are applied to equipment.
