New in 1.4: Tap Devices Together and start a journal for two. Write today's page right on paper, and send a page as a letter with a city stamp.
Keep the days that matter, on your own or with someone close. PicLoom cleans up your photo library with private, on-device AI, lets you write each day right on paper, and with Tap Devices Together turns two devices into one journal for two. Your photos are analyzed on your device and never uploaded.
- Tap Devices Together and journals for two. Tap two iPhones or iPads together to start a shared journal. Each of you writes half the page, reacts with emoji, and every day you write together becomes one book.
- Letters. Send a page as a letter with one of 113 landmark stamps, sealed and postmarked, or send it slow to arrive on a day you choose. Received letters stay on your letter wall, and people who write back can become pen pals.
- On-device AI cleanup. Start with Recommended: extra similar shots, blurry photos, large videos and expired tickets, each with a reason, and among similar shots the best one is suggested to keep. Or review by what's inside: people, scenery, cats, dogs, food and documents. When AI isn't sure, PicLoom asks, and your answer stays on your device.
- Review one photo or video at a time. Swipe to keep it or add it to your deletion queue. Check your choices before confirming deletion through the system Photos prompt.
- Sort by type. Give screenshots, videos, Live Photos and blurry shots their own pile, sorted by date or size, and compare duplicates side by side to keep the best one.
- Swipe up into an album. Keep a photo and file it in one move, and pin the albums you use most above the card. Not sure yet? Swipe up to the thought bubble and decide later.
- Immersive review. Spread two fingers or swipe a few in a row, and only the photo is left. Swipe down to come back.
- Revisit a day. Browse your calendar and the photos and videos taken on each date, including Live Photos.
- Write on paper. Today's page is a sheet of paper: photos, stickers, tape, text and drawings, arranged by hand. Trips, holidays and birthdays are laid out for you automatically, and your journals stand on a bookshelf, year by year. Flip through a month like a book, or seal a page for your future self.
- Apple Pencil on iPad. Handwrite and doodle right on the page.
- Made for iPhone Duo. Closed, the outer screen is your journal's cover; open the phone and the book opens with the hinge.
- See where you've been. The Footprints map places your photos on a satellite globe, city by city. Swipe for this day in past years or a random wander, and tap a city to revisit it month by month. Each trip is recognized automatically, so you can sort it in one go or save it as an album with Pro.
- See the small steps add up. Follow your reviewing activity in Footprints, collect keepsakes, and bring moments from the app to your Home Screen with widgets.
- Choose from seven interface languages and set a separate language for new journal drafts.
PicLoom is free to download with a daily reviewing allowance and 20 free letters. Pro is an optional one-time purchase for iPhone and iPad: unlimited reviewing and letters, 12 photos per letter, letters with no expiry, slow mail beyond a month, unlimited journals for two, the Pro stamp, sharing without the PicLoom mark, whole-journal PDF, unlimited journal videos, trip albums in one tap, Pro themes and icons, and the Pro keepsake. Future optional features or cloud services may require separate purchases or subscriptions.
Core reviewing records and journal entries are stored locally. Photo locations are matched to cities on your device, and map imagery comes from Apple Maps. Apple Health activity is read on your device and never written. Duplicate, blur and content checks run only on this device, and nothing is uploaded. Photos are added to an album only when you choose; nothing is moved out of your library or edited. Letters are encrypted on your device before they are sent, and optional place lookups for selected photos contact an external service. No separate PicLoom account is required.
I love taking photos, so my camera roll is overflowing, and organizing them is a whole project. PicLoom finally got me to deal with it, mostly because it doesn't feel like a chore. You just swipe: left to toss, right to keep. The new 1.3 update adds a Journal, and honestly it's the best part now. It turns your days into these little scrapbook-style pages, makes some of them on its own (like for trips), and lets you flip through each month like a book. There's even a time capsule you can lock and open later. Oh, and there's a map showing everywhere you've taken photos. Kind of addictive.

新版本优化了这里,下一个版本会改进这里的性能!
PicLoom 1.4 is our biggest update yet.
• Tap Devices Together: tap two iPhones or iPads together and you share a journal. Each of you writes your half of the page, reacts with an emoji, and the days turn into one book you can share as a web page.
• Letters, a new tab: send any page as a letter with a landmark stamp, sealed and postmarked. Send it slow and pick the day it arrives. Friends without PicLoom can read the first page in their browser.
• Your letter wall: letters you receive stay on the wall, pin your favorites, and become pen pals with the people who write back.
• Stamp Book: 113 engraved landmark stamps. A new city's stamp arrives like a medal; hold one and turn it over to see your days there.
• Write on paper: today's page opens as a sheet of paper. Drop photos on it, add stickers, tape and text, or draw, with an eraser for any stroke.
• A bookshelf for your journals: books stand by year, your recent pages flow by as covers, and a year opens like a real book.
• Footprints shows your albums on the map, stacked on the cities you visited.
• Review is lighter: smaller buttons, a To Delete pile, a redesigned duplicates page you can swipe, and an undo at the edge in immersive mode.
• Themes can follow your system's light or dark appearance.
• PicLoom now runs on iPad, with a sidebar and wide layouts for Review, Journal and Letters. Write and doodle on the page with Apple Pencil, and Tap Devices Together works there too.
• Made for iPhone Duo: closed, the outer screen shows your journal's cover; open the phone and the book opens with the hinge.
