Built for DJs who play on Pioneer DJ / AlphaTheta mixers. Record your live set straight from the mixer's digital output, edit it on your iPhone and share it without going through a computer.
RECORD YOUR LIVE SET
Connect your mixer or an iPhone-compatible USB audio interface. Check the input, meters and signal before you start. Record the mix as a 48 kHz / 24-bit stereo WAV and mark the best moments while you play, with a tap or with hands-free gestures.
SYNCED AUDIO AND VIDEO
Film your performance with the iPhone camera while TGS REC captures the clean audio from the mixer. The original mix is always kept as a reference.
LIVE ON YOUTUBE
Stream your set on YouTube Live with the sound from your mixer.
TRACKS AND HIGHLIGHTS
Identify the tracks in your set with Track ID, edit the tracklist with its timestamps and find the standout moments to turn them into clips.
EDITING
Cut, trim and join parts of your set, add fade-ins and fade-outs, and undo or redo any change. Import audio or video from your iPhone and edit it just like your own recordings.
MASTERING
Analyze the audio, set the loudness by LUFS with a limiter and listen to the result before exporting, without touching the original recording.
UPLOAD DIRECTLY
Publish your video to YouTube and your mix to Mixcloud from the app, or save your files to Google Drive and Dropbox. Connect each service in Connections. Saving a session never publishes it: you decide what goes up and when.
LISTEN
Play your sessions and jump through the tracklist, on your iPhone or in the car with CarPlay.
PIONEER DJ / ALPHATHETA MIXERS
Includes connection guides for the DJM-450, DJM-750MK2, DJM-900NXS2, DJM-TOUR1, DJM-A9, DJM-V10, DJM-V10-LF and DJM-V5. The connection depends on the mixer's USB port, cable and routing. The DJM-A9 is tested with TGS REC. Other iOS-compatible mixers or interfaces may work if they send a digital stereo input to the iPhone. Some models need an external audio interface. Always make a test recording before an important set.
