PAR Written Test, ACS & Mocks

Free · In‑App Purchases

716 original questions, each tagged with its ACS code. Free: 50 questions, one full 60-question mock exam and the whole Library. One-time unlock, no subscription. Study for the FAA Private Pilot written test (PAR) with 716 original questions, each tagged with its ACS code, plus generated nav log, weight and balance, and METAR/TAF trainers. Free to try. 716 ORIGINAL QUESTIONS Every question was written for this app and checked against the current regulations, the Aeronautical Information Manual and the FAA handbooks. Nothing is copied from any question bank. 90 topics across seven subjects: Regulations, Weather, Airspace & Airports, Navigation, Aircraft & Systems, Performance & Weight and Balance, and Human Factors. EVERY QUESTION CARRIES ITS ACS CODE The knowledge test report does not tell you which questions you missed - it prints a list of Airman Certification Standards codes. Enter those codes and the app builds a session from exactly those areas. Worth doing even after a pass: the examiner has to revisit each missed code on the oral. FOUR GENERATED TRAINERS, NEW NUMBERS EVERY TIME • VFR nav log - a fresh three-leg cross-country between real airports, with wind, variation and a deviation card. Heading, groundspeed, ETA and fuel. • Weight and balance - a fictional four-seat trainer with its own datum, arms and envelope. Moments, CG, the sloping forward limit, fuel burn, weight shift. • METAR and TAF - a coherent report and forecast to decode, ending in the basic VFR versus Special VFR call. • Calculation drills - density altitude, true airspeed, crosswind component, fuel required, glide distance, compass headings, and more, with worked answers. ANSWER, THEN CONFIRM In practice, tapping an option only selects it. Change your mind as often as you like; nothing is scored until you press Confirm answer, and only then do the explanation, the reference and the ACS code appear. On a Mac, or an iPad with a keyboard, A to D picks an answer, Return confirms it, and the arrow keys move through a mock test. FULL MOCK TESTS Sit the 60-question paper under the real 2-hour time limit and the real 70% standard, or a shorter timed quiz on one subject. No feedback until you submit. Afterwards every question is reviewable with its explanation, its reference and its ACS code. TRACKS WHAT YOU ACTUALLY KNOW Spaced repetition brings missed questions back on a schedule. A readiness estimate is weighted by how much each topic is worth on the test, so it tells you whether you are ready rather than how much you have clicked. YOUR PROGRESS ON EVERY DEVICE Answers, your review schedule and mock exam results come together on every iPhone, iPad and Mac signed in to your iCloud account. Nothing to set up and no account to create: it runs on your own iCloud, and the developer cannot see your progress. FREE TO START, ONE PRICE FOR EVERYTHING Try it free: 50 practice questions in any mode, one full PAR mock exam, and every Library note. Full Access is a single in-app purchase that unlocks every question, unlimited mock exams and subject quizzes, all the trainers and Test Report Review. One-time, no subscription, and it covers your iPhone, iPad and Mac. ON IPHONE, IPAD AND MAC. WORKS OFFLINE. NO ACCOUNT. NO ADS. NO TRACKING. Your progress stays on your devices and, if you leave sync on, in your own iCloud. The developer collects nothing. Study aid only. All questions and notes are original material. Not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Federal Aviation Administration; the PAR knowledge test and the Airman Certification Standards are referenced solely to identify the examination. Always verify against the current 14 CFR, the AIM, the Chart Supplement and your aircraft's flight manual before operational use.

YOUR PROGRESS ON EVERY DEVICE Answers, your review schedule and mock exam results now come together on every iPhone, iPad and Mac signed in to your iCloud account. Nothing to set up: the switch is in Library > Sync. It runs on your own iCloud, so there is still no account to create, and the developer cannot see your progress. Each device keeps its own copy, so studying offline works as before and catches up when you are back online. With sync on, "Reset all progress" clears every device. The free questions and the free mock exam are shared by your synced devices. HAVE AN OFFER CODE? The Full Access screen and the Full Access section of the Library tab now have a "Redeem a code" button, which opens Apple's offer-code sheet. FAIRER SCORING • A wrong answer can no longer raise your readiness. One miss on a topic you had not started used to read 38%. • Questions left blank in a mock exam still count against that paper, but no longer go into your study record as wrong answers. • Pass or fail is judged on your actual score, never on a rounded percentage. • A calculation drill can no longer land in the middle of the nav log, weight and balance or METAR block of a mock exam. • The full mock exam now runs on the FAA's current 2-hour time limit, half an hour shorter than before.
