Mikey Beads: Pixel Art

Draw, trace & turn photos

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

A favorite photo, a colorful bead world. Draw freely, trace an original pattern, or follow the colors. Create one bead at a time on iPhone and iPad. A photo of a favorite toy. A little dinosaur. A world made one colorful bead at a time. Mikey Beads is a playful pixel-art studio with round, hollow beads. Tap to place a bead and drag to draw. Pick an original pattern, create freely, or turn a photo into something you can make. PHOTO TO BEADS Take a photo or choose one from your library. Crop around the subject, choose detail and color count, and adjust background and canvas size. Conversion happens on your device. Edit the result or trace it one bead at a time. THREE SIMPLE WAYS TO CREATE • Free Draw, with custom canvas sizes from 4 to 96 beads per side. • Trace with a full, faint, outline or hidden reference. • Color by number, following one color at a time. Undo, redo, erase, zoom and move. On iPad, use the larger canvas and side tools. KEEP WHAT YOU MAKE Artwork saves automatically. Continue editing, duplicate, start again or export an image and backup. Completed iCloud Drive sync can restore artwork and individual ad-unlocked patterns using the same Apple Account. Export unsynced work before uninstalling. 20 starter patterns, free drawing, photo conversion and saving are free. Pattern Playground adds 16 original designs; the first in each collection is ready to play. When available, one optional ad permanently unlocks only the selected pattern. Interstitial ads may appear after completed creations when returning to the studio. One Remove All Ads purchase removes every ad and opens all Pattern Playground designs. No subscriptions. Restore Purchases is supported. No sign-in or age question. Photos and artwork are not shared with ad services. Declining tracking does not block creating or saving. Ad availability depends on region and privacy requirements.
