Remember what you read. Marginalia is a book tracker that keeps the passages, words and ideas from your books, and brings them back before you forget them.
KEEP WHAT YOU READ
Point your camera at a page and select the passage you want to keep. Write your own notes in the margins. Look up an unfamiliar word and it's saved to your vocabulary, with the sentence you found it in.
REMEMBER IT
When you're ready, Marginalia turns your highlights and words into flashcards: fill-in-the-blank passages, vocabulary recall and free recall. Spaced repetition brings each card back just as you're about to forget it. No AI writes them; every card comes from something you kept.
TRACK YOUR READING
Want to read, Reading, Finished and Unfinished. Search a large catalogue, choose the cover you actually own, and record where you are with a page dial that's quick enough to use mid-chapter. Rate and review what you finish, log re-reads without losing the first time through, and see each book's reading history day by day.
SET A GOAL
Set a yearly reading challenge and see whether you're ahead or behind, with every book you finished that year and the years before. See how long your to-read pile would take at your own pace.
READ WITH FRIENDS
Add friends to see what they're reading, browse their shelves and highlights, and get suggestions drawn from their favourites. Follow authors, read about them, and see what's new from them in Explore.
SHARE A LINE
Turn any passage into a quote card, set on paper stock, ready to share.
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Shelves, progress, highlights, notes, words and flashcards all work without an account. Sign in with Apple or Google only when you want friends and cloud sync. No ads, no tracking, and your reading is never sent to an AI.

• Import your library from Goodreads, with your ratings, reviews and dates.
• Share your year in books as a story.
• See this week’s reading days at a glance in the Library.
• Choose what happens to your books when you sign in or out.
