MEASURE THE SUGAR IN YOUR MUST Drag the hydrometer down into the glass, slide the thermometer to the temperature of your sample, and read the sugar percentage as it updates live. The numbers come from a proper measurement table, corrected for temperature — the same values you would look up on paper, without the paper. Density 1.050 to 1.110. Temperature 10 to 35 degrees. WORK OUT YOUR WATER Enter how much you are starting with, the strength you have, and the strength you want to reach. Rakia tells you exactly how much water to add. Switch on temperature correction when your sample is warmer or cooler than standard, and the result accounts for it. KEEP EVERY READING Save a measurement and it stays saved. Browse your history, search it, open any reading for the full detail, correct it if you entered something wrong, delete it when you no longer need it. Everything syncs through your own iCloud, so a reading you take out by the still is waiting on your iPad indoors.
