Four traditional dombyra tunings. Cent-accurate, works offline, and never records your audio. Burau is a precise, easy-to-use tuner built specifically for the Kazakh dombyra. Unlike guitar tuners, Burau understands that the dombyra has no single "correct" tuning. It supports the traditional tunings used across different küy schools, and it can tune your second string relative to whatever the first one is already set to. TRADITIONAL TUNINGS - Re–Sol (D–G) — the common fourth tuning, used in most textbooks and in tökpe küy - Re–La (D–A) — the fifth tuning of shertpe küy - Do–Fa (C–F) — a lower tuning for accompanying songs, jyr and terme - Mi–La (E–A) — a brighter, higher tuning for smaller instruments ACCURATE AND FAST - Cent-level accuracy - Responds in a fraction of a second - Built around the dombyra's overtones, so no octave errors - Adjustable A4 reference from 415 to 450 Hz FOR LEFT-HANDED PLAYERS Switch the on-screen layout so the strings appear the way you hold them. The notes do not change — only the display mirrors. WORKS OFFLINE Tuning needs no internet connection. Microphone audio is analysed on your device and is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere. Available in Kazakh, Russian and English.
