VisionSearch: AI Photo Search
Search Videos and Photos
Only for Mac

Find the photo, scene, or exact video moment you remember. Search your private media library with words or a reference image—entirely on your Mac.
VisionSearch helps you find moments hidden inside your personal videos and photos.
Add folders or individual media files, let VisionSearch prepare a private search index, then describe what you remember in English. Search for a red jacket, a dog in the yard, a white car near an entrance, or any visible object, color, scene, or activity. Matching video results include timestamps so you can jump directly to the relevant moment.
You can also choose a reference image to find visually similar photos and video frames across your library.
Why use VisionSearch:
- Search videos and photos together from one library
- Find scenes using natural-language descriptions
- Jump directly to matching timestamps in long videos
- Find visually similar media with a reference image
- Browse thumbnails while indexing continues in the background
- Add complete folders or select individual files
- Work with common photo formats, HEIC, and many camera RAW formats
- Keep access to selected folders after restarting the app
Private by design:
Indexing and search run locally on your Mac. Your original files stay where they are and are never uploaded, copied, moved, or modified. VisionSearch does not require an account.
VisionSearch is useful for personal memories, creative projects, research footage, home videos, media archives, and any collection where you remember what something looked like but not its filename.
Search works best with English descriptions.
