PolyPlay Language Player
Video & Bilingual Subtitles
$4.99
iPad
Enjoy your videos and explore languages with bilingual subtitles, adjustable playback, and a transcript you can tap to replay.
Watch. Understand. Replay.
PolyPlay combines a versatile video player with tools for learning from subtitles on iPad.
PLAY YOUR VIDEOS
Open local videos, browse SMB file servers, or connect Google Drive to stream your files. Resume from playback history and adjust playback speed from 0.5x to 3x. Supported formats include MP4, MOV and MKV, with compatibility depending on the file and codec.
FOLLOW EVERY LINE
Choose supported embedded text subtitles or import SRT, VTT, ASS and SSA files. Read original and translated text together, tap a subtitle to jump to that moment, and adjust subtitle size and the number of visible lines.
EXPLORE LANGUAGES
Choose from 30 target-language options. Translate subtitles with an online service or Apple Translate where supported. Keep completed translations for later viewing and export bilingual SRT files.
MADE FOR IPAD
Use an aligned video-and-transcript view designed for iPad. Switch to full screen, tap the progress bar to seek, and pinch to switch between fitting the full picture and filling the screen height.
You provide the videos. PolyPlay does not include a movie or television catalog. Subtitle availability, language support and third-party online services may vary. Online translation and cloud playback require an internet connection. Apple translation may require supported language downloads. Image-based subtitles and some remote embedded subtitle formats are not supported.
