iPhone Duo: Gallerya now fills the whole screen, on the inner display and the outer one. On the outer display, the next step in setup, Settings and the Archive's options stand beside the clock, out of your photos' way. • On iPad, and on iPhone Duo opened up, the Backup screen now uses the width: what is waiting on one side and the button on the other, with your drive, verification, backup history and archive in tidy rows below. • Safer Cleanup: when Cleanup checks the drive before deleting, a photo now leaves your phone only once its copy has been checked and matched. If the check can't finish, nothing is deleted. • The reminder choices in setup are now described in German, French, Spanish and Japanese too.

Trips: your Archive now finds the times you were away and shows them as cards above your photos. Open one to relive it day by day, in the order you took them. • Trips are found on your iPhone from where and when your photos were taken, and named after the city or country you visited, using a list of cities built into the app. No location is ever sent anywhere, and it all works offline. • Swipe through every photo and video of a trip in the full-screen viewer, from the first day to the last. • Archives you already have work too: the first time you open one with the drive plugged in, Gallerya reads where its photos were taken, once, from Photos or from the originals on the drive. • New backups record where each photo was taken in the archive's catalog, so your drive keeps the place even after the photo has left your phone. • Cleanup now comes as a yearly plan too, for about a third less than paying monthly.

• Unlocking the app and subscribing to Cleanup now each have a page of their own, and Cleanup's subscription lives in the Cleanup tab. • You can now subscribe to Cleanup in every country Gallerya is sold in, not only the United States. • The Backup screen now shows how many free items are left, with the full version one tap away. • If the App Store can't be reached, the purchase screen now says so, instead of showing a button that does nothing. • The photo access message now says plainly that Cleanup can delete photos — only when you choose to, and only after you confirm. • The Settings button on the Backup screen now looks like the one in Cleanup and the Archive.
