Reveal changes between FITS images with Wipe, Blink, and Overlay. Shared display settings keep both views consistent, while your original files stay untouched. Between two observations, a change appears. LumaPair brings two FITS images onto one shared canvas so you can inspect visible changes with Wipe, Blink, and Overlay. REVEAL WITH WIPE Move a divider across the image to uncover differences between A and B. OBSERVE WITH BLINK Alternate between images at an adjustable pace. Pause and switch manually whenever you want a closer look. INSPECT WITH OVERLAY Blend two rendered images with an interactive opacity slider to inspect overlap and visible displacement. KEEP THE DISPLAY CONSISTENT Apply shared black and white points, Linear, Asinh, or Logarithmic stretch, and Grayscale or Aurora color. Pan and zoom through the shared view without repeatedly matching separate windows. START WITH A DEMO Explore every viewing mode with the built-in simulated image pair, then open your own supported FITS files. LOCAL BY DESIGN Image processing happens on your Mac. No account, cloud upload, advertising, or analytics is built into the app. Your original files remain unchanged. SUPPORTED FILES Uncompressed 2D FITS primary images and IMAGE extensions, up to 512 MiB per file. Supports BITPIX 8, 16, 32, 64, -32, and -64, with BSCALE/BZERO and integer BLANK handling. Reads the first supported image HDU. PLEASE NOTE Previews are sampled to a maximum dimension of 1024 pixels. LumaPair does not automatically register images, normalize different exposures or physical units, or perform scientific difference measurements. Use registered images for aligned inspection. Compressed FITS, data cubes, saved sessions, and report export are not supported in this version. Requires macOS 14 or later. Available in English, French, Spanish, German, and Simplified Chinese. Works independently of FITS QuickLook Studio.
