Bitcoin Miner Education turns Bitcoin proof-of-work into a live, visual process. Follow a block candidate from its individual header fields through two SHA-256 calculations and the final comparison with Bitcoin’s current network target.
The app uses live Bitcoin network information to construct a local coinbase-only block candidate. Every displayed hash is genuinely calculated on your Mac—nothing is presented as a simulated mining result.

When a new network block is detected, the candidate is rebuilt automatically on top of the new chain tip.
FOLLOW THE PROOF-OF-WORK CYCLE
Watch the complete calculation:
Assemble the 80-byte block header
Perform the first SHA-256 calculation
Hash the result with SHA-256 again
Compare the final hash with the network target
Continue with the next nonce
Live snapshots show the current nonce, serialized header, first hash, final hash and target comparison.
CONTROLLED RESOURCE USAGE
Bitcoin Miner Education uses only one CPU worker. It does not use the GPU, run in the background or continue calculating after the app is closed.
