A new Frame tool puts shape, fit, punch-in, mirror, the progress bar and frame rate in one place. Captions start simpler: pick a language and generate. Phrases, looks and .srt export show up once there are captions to work with. The editor is easier to read, with a rounded preview, a tidier timeline and one highlighted next step on every screen. The Photos picker and Files tab are dark now too, like the rest of the app.

Captions get a whole new look: presets, outlines, shadows, boxes, fonts, sizes, all caps and highlight colours. Drag captions into place on the preview. Blur the empty space around a clip, zoom in slightly at cuts, mirror, add a progress bar, or export at 60 fps. Pick a Relaxed, Natural or Tight cutting pace and see how much time was removed. Trim a second off both ends, or reset every edit in one tap. Export captions as .srt, copy the transcript, share the audio, or save a cover frame. Auto-edit cuts, Taglish captions and importing are faster and more accurate.

Your first finished export is now free and includes a Made with Cutroom watermark. Cutroom Pro removes the watermark and unlocks more exports.

Cutroom now gives you more control over every cut. Split a clip at the playhead, trim its start or end, or remove a section directly from the timeline while keeping the preview visible. Zoom in to place cuts precisely, and undo changes you want to revisit. Audio transitions at cut points are smoother, and preview audio plays even when your iPhone is in silent mode. We also refreshed the editor layout so the timeline, playback controls, and editing tools are easier to use together.
