Remote support If you get stuck, Profile now gives you a six-character code so your instructor or an administrator can see your screen while they help you. You start it, you agree to what is shared first, a coloured frame stays on screen the whole time, and you can pause or stop at any moment. Booking an aircraft You can now propose a booking from the phone. The form asks only what your school's rules say it should, and it updates as you fill it in. Build a route one stop at a time, and see what became of each proposal in My proposals, including the reason a dismissed one was turned down. Maintenance Engineers get their own side of the app: the fleet, the jobs they are named on, and each aircraft's own screen showing what it is due. The inspection checklist is filled in and signed on the phone, saving every answer as you make it. Approvals Schedulers get an inbox of the proposals waiting on them, each one approved or dismissed with a reason the proposer can read. Also in this release The View switch in Profile now offers the maintenance and scheduling sides. A dropdown only grows a search field when it has enough rows to need one. The signature pad no longer drags the page under it, the keyboard no longer covers the field you are typing into, and a profile photo you change now replaces the old one.

The app now opens with the WingOps mark drawing itself. • Closing a flight: meter readings and instruction times are two screens, named the way the office names them, and a comma works as a decimal point. • Risk assessment forms: a heading sent by the office reads as a heading, a box that is not yours to tick says whose it is, a refusal you cannot act on no longer reads as a to-do list, and a signature survives leaving the screen. • What's new: this page now lives in Profile, then About, and the row shows a dot when there is something you have not read. • Updates: the app tells you when the App Store has a newer version of it, and takes you there. • Around the app: your own picture on your profile, back arrows that match the phone you are on, and tidier empty states.

Times now follow one timezone that you choose in the header, and dates read the same way everywhere in the app. Your logbook separates the flights you flew from the ones that were scheduled but did not happen, so the numbers are the ones you actually logged. The dashboard shows what has changed since you last opened the app. Before asking for location, the app now explains what it records, what it is for, and that recording continues while your phone is locked — and asks you to agree first. Nothing is recorded outside a flight you started. Setting your first password is clearer, and you can get back out of it. Fixes throughout to flight times, the calendar, and the first-run questions.

Your logbook, your progress, and a record of the flight itself. YOUR LOGBOOK — Every flight you have flown with your school, with the hours, the aircraft and the risk score for each one. Choose the period you want to look at. YOUR PROGRESS — A dashboard showing how you are tracking toward the certificate you are working on, built from the hours your school has on record rather than from anything you have to type twice. RECORD THE FLIGHT — Start a recording before you fly and stop it when you are back, and the track of the flight is kept with its paperwork. It runs only between the moment you press Start and the moment you press Stop. FOR INSTRUCTORS — Your flights now appear as the same cards your students see, and you can sign a student's brief from your phone. A brief is not finished until both names are on it. SETTING UP — A new pilot is asked two questions on first sign-in… If you fly for more than one school, you can now choose which one you are signing in to. Also in this release: times are shown on your school's clock wherever you are in the world, the agenda opens on today instead of the first of the month, and a failed sign-in now tells you what actually went wrong.
