Spelli is for the parent who gets a list of ten words every Monday and a test every Friday. Type the list once, or paste it straight from the school's email. Hand the phone over. Spelli says each word out loud, your child types it without ever seeing it, and at the end you get the score.
HEARD, NEVER SHOWN
• Every word is spoken aloud, in the English accent and at the speed you pick
• Nothing on the screen gives the spelling away: no autocorrect, no suggestions, no capital letter added for them
• Tap to hear the word again, or hear it said slowly
• Add a sentence to any word, so "there" and "their" can be told apart
A REAL SCORE
• Right or wrong for every word, and what was typed for each miss
• The misses retested on their own, straight from the score card
• The latest score kept on the list, free. Pro keeps every week, so you can see Wednesday against Friday
WHOSE WEEK IT IS
Put a first name on a list and the score card says it — "Maya spelled every word right" — so the result reads as your child's week rather than a number. Optional, and asked once when you make the list. With Pro, a separate list for each child.

• Numbers, bullets and commas in a pasted list are sorted out for you
