Ninety-Nine: Perfect Games
Tiny tests of precision.
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Draw, split, pour, fold and tap your way toward a perfect score. Quick games, one honest number each. New: XO Chaos, tic-tac-toe with monsters. Big eats small.
Ninety-Nine is a notebook of tiny tests of precision. Each one takes a few seconds, each one is graded like homework, and almost none of them will give you 100.
THE GAMES
Perfect Circle — Draw the roundest circle you can, in one stroke. Your line is compared with the circle you meant to draw and scored on shape, closure and steadiness.
Perfect Timing — Stop the clock on exactly five seconds. Counting in your head is allowed. Peeking is not.
Perfect Center — Drag the dot to the exact middle of the shape. Play the Daily set of five, practice as long as you like, and collect every shape in the book with a dead-on placement.
Perfect Symmetry — Half a shape is drawn. Finish the other half across the fold.
Perfect Stop — A shape slides toward its outline. Stop it right on the mark, one at a time in Classic or back to back in Run.
Perfect Fill — Pour into a beaker up to the red line. Overfill and it counts against you. Classic or Run.
Perfect Half — One swipe to cut a pizza, a chocolate bar or an odd shape into two equal halves. The closer to 50/50, the better.
Stickman Battle — Aim on your page, fold it shut, and your paint stamps onto your rival's page, mirrored. Knock out all three of your rival's stickmen before they get yours. Play Scribble, who gets sharper each time you win, or a friend on one screen.
Pick the Wrong Color — A color is named. Tap any color but that one before time runs out. The word lies about its ink, the buttons shuffle and the clock keeps shrinking. Colors + shapes mode puts a shape on every button, so it plays without relying on color alone.
Pick the Wrong Shape — A shape is named. Tap any shape but that one before it is rubbed out. Twelve shapes from circles to moons, some turned, some look-alikes, and every round is faster.
XO Chaos — Tic-tac-toe with monsters in three sizes. Big eats small, and the eaten one pops back out when the big one moves away. One Small on each team is a secret bomb: step off it and BOOM, both pop off the board. Play Scribble or a friend on one screen.
HOW YOU ARE GRADED
Precision rounds end with one number from 0 to 100 and a short note on what went wrong. Pick the Wrong Color counts your right answers, Stickman Battle counts the hearts you have left, and XO Chaos counts the games you win in a match. Your best for each game stays on the cover page, so there is always something to beat.
SHARE YOUR SCORE
Turn any result into a notebook-style score card and send it through the share sheet, or save it to Photos. Nothing is shared unless you tap it.
BRAIN POWER AND STREAKS
Great rounds push your Brain Power meter up. Sloppy ones pull it down. Skip a day and it fades a little. Play one round a day to keep your streak burning.
MADE TO BE QUIET
No accounts. No ads. No timers nagging you to come back. Nothing is collected, and nothing leaves your device unless you share a score card yourself. Your scores live in the app and nowhere else.
Ninety-Nine works offline and fits in a pocket of spare time: waiting for coffee, sitting on the bus, or the last thing before bed.
NEW GAME: PICK THE WRONG SHAPE
A shape is named. Tap anything but that one. Easy, until the oval sits next to the circle, the diamond next to the square, and the eraser starts rubbing out your time. One wrong tap and the page is done.
