New • 18 new objects, including freezers, a rice cooker and CCTV • Expanded walk mode Fixed • More accurate temperature simulation • Imperial units are now consistent everywhere

New • Object Outlines: furniture on the 2D plan now shows its real shape from above • Furniture Colours: 6 colour themes for every project, with wood floors in 3D • Walk inside: explore your house at eye height in 3D Fixed • Basements now show correctly below ground in 3D • Simulations now treat basement walls as underground, in contact with the soil

Fixed: the floor plan in exported PDFs was flipped top to bottom. It now matches your drawing, and the north arrow points the right way.

A fresh look - In the editor, the tools sit in a new bar. It shows icons, and the tab you open shows its name. On iPad held sideways, the tools and their drawer share one card down the side. - Tap outside the drawer to close it. - The floor buttons now open a floor card: every floor with its rooms and ceiling, rename or delete a floor, and add one above or a basement. - In Simulation, the project list shows each project with its picture and size, and a search box when you have more than 8. - On iPad held sideways, settings open as a panel on the side you tapped, instead of covering the screen. - On Home, the "By Name" row stays at the top while you scroll. Appearance - A new Appearance screen in Profile, just above App Settings: choose System, Light or Dark. - Tiang Pro adds Transparent: the tab bar and the editor's bars float over the page as glass. Opacity sets how see-through the glass is, from 5% to 100%. Transparent is on for Pro accounts, and you can switch it off in Appearance. - On iPad held sideways, the tab bar sits on the right. With Tiang Pro you can move it to the left or the bottom. Backup & Restore (Tiang Pro) - Tiang keeps snapshots of your projects in the cloud: one every 12 hours, plus any you save with Back Up Now. Restore any of them from Profile. - A new Sync switch in Profile pauses syncing on the iPhone or iPad you're using, until you turn it back on. Air conditioning and heating - AC sizes come in BTU/h, kW or PK. A new unit starts on Auto, the shop size that suits its room, and its electricity follows the size you pick. - Tiang Pro adds Custom, for the exact sizes and electricity on your unit's spec sheet. - One outdoor unit now serves up to 4 indoor units. Choose which one each indoor unit uses under Connected To, and see its refrigerant pipe go through the outside wall in 2D and 3D. - The Electricity simulation now works out what each AC and heater really uses, inverter or not, instead of counting it at full power. iPhone Duo - Tiang fits iPhone Duo folded and open: the tab bar sits in the side strip next to the clock, and nothing hides behind it.
