A normal save keeps fields interactive; a flattened copy bakes fields and annotations into the pages. Export with Fixed Text instead fixes only text annotations and keeps forms fillable. Add a password to open the document and configure PDF permissions for printing, copying, commenting, form filling and page editing. Permission enforcement depends on the receiving PDF viewer. Signature fields are placeholders, not certificate-based digital signing. Flattened copies no longer contain interactive form fields.
