Tree Trimmer is a cozy Christmas tree decorating game. Choose a tree, drag ornaments onto its branches, draw garlands and strings of lights with your finger, then switch off the room lights and watch your tree glow. Decorate by hand The tray at the bottom holds baubles in matte, shiny and glitter finishes, glass drops, stars, bows, candy canes, bells, gingerbread figures, pine cones and snowflakes. Drag an ornament onto the tree and it hangs from the branches with a gentle swing. Tap the tree and everything sways a little. You can move, duplicate or remove any ornament, and undo or redo whenever you change your mind. Finish with a star, a snowflake or a bow on top. Garlands and lights In draw mode, trace a path across the tree and it becomes tinsel, a bead string, a popcorn string or a ribbon that hangs with a natural sag. Light strings work the same way, with steady, twinkle, chase, fade, multicolor and warm white patterns. Then tap Lights Out. The room goes dark and your tree becomes the brightest thing in it. Gifts, trees and rooms Wrap presents in the paper and ribbon you like and set them under the tree. Decorate a classic fir, a snowy flocked tree, a slim pencil tree or a tabletop tree, in a living room with a fireplace, a snowy window nook, a town square at night or a minimal studio. A new challenge every day Every day brings one decorating rule, such as using only two colors, hanging exactly 12 ornaments and one garland, or keeping both sides of the tree in balance. Your finished tree earns one to three stars. Keep your streak going and look back through your history. Save and share Keep your favorite designs in the gallery, rename or duplicate them, and export a high-resolution image to share with family and friends. Free and Premium Decorating is free. The free version includes the classic and flocked trees, two rooms, a core set of ornaments, all garlands, steady and twinkle lights, three saved designs, the daily challenge and image export with a small Tree Trimmer mark. Tree Trimmer Premium is an optional monthly or yearly subscription. It unlocks every tree, including the white, pink and gold tinsel trees, every room, the full ornament packs, all light patterns, unlimited saved designs and exports without the mark. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings. There are no ads and no account to create, and decorating works without an internet connection. When Reduce Motion is on, ornaments stay still. I don’t like Christmas but it’s my partner’s favorite holiday so I avoid Xmas decor but because it’s coming, I wanted an app that would ease me into the holiday. This app is perfect!!! I’m actually getting excited about making the things in this app a reality. Feedback would be to lower the intensity of the tree lights (they wash out the tree and decor) but also to add more of everything. More lights, more bulbs, more scenes, more wreath options, more background decor options, more lights, WIDGETS!!!, more present options (like shape options and being able to expand gifts manually), and most importantly, being able to add someone! I’d like to share giving virtual decorating and putting gifts under the tree and unwrapping them together.

Thank you so much for this wonderful review! It means a lot that Tree Trimmer is helping you get into the holiday spirit. We've noted all of your ideas — softer tree lights, more lights, ornaments, scenes, wreaths, backgrounds and present options, widgets, and decorating and unwrapping gifts together with someone. We're always working to make the app better, and feedback like yours really helps. Happy decorating! 🎄

Holiday update: after you save your second tree, you can rate Tree Trimmer right in the app. Performance and stability improvements.
