Buyments - pay registered businesses in Kuwait safely, without risky payment links.
Fake payment links are one of the most common scams today: a message on WhatsApp, SMS or social media that looks like a real shop, but leads to a page built to steal your card details. Buyments was built to protect you from that. Every business on Buyments is a registered merchant, and every payment request from them is waiting for you inside the app - so you never have to trust a link to know who you are paying.
WHY PAY THROUGH THE APP
- Registered businesses: payment requests come only from merchants registered on Buyments.
- No suspicious links: sign in and see exactly what you owe to merchants you deal with, then pay from inside the app.
- Know before you pay: review the merchant and the order details before you confirm anything.
- Protected payments: for higher-value sales, a merchant can mark a payment as protected. You confirm your phone with a WhatsApp code and verify your identity once with your Civil ID and a live selfie, then pay by KNET. After the first time, a WhatsApp code is enough.
- Secure checkout: payments are processed by licensed providers - UPayments (KNET and cards) and Deema (buy now, pay later) - on their own secure checkout pages.
- Your card stays private: Buyments never sees or stores your card number.
- Encrypted connections: all data between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit.
FOR MERCHANTS
Give your customers a payment experience they can trust, and stop losing sales to people who are afraid to tap a link.
- Orders: create a full order or use Quick Order for a one-off amount, record cash payments, and open any order for its full detail and payment history.
- Payment requests: send a payment request for any amount that your customer can pay safely inside the app, or share a link when you need to.
- Protected links: switch on "Protected link" for higher-value orders, so your customer is confirmed with a WhatsApp code and a one-time identity check before paying by KNET.
- Invoices: share any paid order's invoice as a PDF.
- Customers: keep a customer list and see what each one has ordered and paid.
- Deema BNPL: turn buy-now-pay-later on or off and configure it for your account.
- Notifications: get an alert the moment a payment arrives, and follow a pending order live on your Lock Screen.
- Devices: see the devices signed in to your account and sign out any you don't recognise.
