FisheyeFlow, previously ILPD Generator, calibrates dual-fisheye media for immersive-video workflows. Processing stays on your Mac, with Chinese and English interfaces.
ILPD calibration for AIVU
Adjust lens distortion, optical centers, stereo alignment and spherical masks, then export ILPD for compatible DaVinci Resolve workflows. Downstream tools create AIVU; FisheyeFlow does not encode source footage as AIVU. Precision wheels support dragging beyond the control, fine/coarse adjustment, numeric entry and reset. Moving both optical centers preserves their relative offset.
APMP parametric fisheye
No need to pre-render stereo alignment in another app or unwrap to equirectangular panorama (ERP). Prepare true single-track stereo MV-HEVC MOV retaining fisheye geometry. Calibrate manually or import ILPD, then write APMP projection and per-eye calibration for a compatible player. This is not automatic alignment.
• Preserve-image mode retains compressed video and audio while writing metadata.
• Circular masks provide adjustable coverage and feathering. Baking a mask re-encodes both eyes and supports cancellation. APMP masks are set separately from ILPD spherical masks.
• Viewing FOV maps content from 180° down to 120° to concentrate existing detail. Proportions, edge geometry and stereo space change; no new resolution or detail is created.
Outputs never overwrite source media.
Video, stills and cropped sources
Calibrate SBS video, JPG/PNG stills or tagged stereo MV-HEVC previews. Standard 2:1 SBS and native 12288×5112 / 12288×6480 references are supported. New sources start with centered optical centers; projects retain settings and source references, with relinking when needed. Projects do not embed media.
Match reference and final source dimensions, crop, fisheye scale and eye order. Do not stretch or fill-and-crop. Native 12288×5112 is 6144×5112 per eye; masks retain side arcs and horizontal crop boundaries. Missing pixels cannot be recovered.
In Resolve use Linear and enable visionOS Effect beneath mask Type/Feather, then import camera masks for BOTH eyes. Check a short final render.
Lens Size Reference
Eye Width remains the default, including taller sources whose circle follows width. Choose Eye Height for a height-referenced fisheye with cropped sides, such as 5760×7680 per eye. Lens values scale together without rotating or resizing media; masks retain top/bottom arcs and clip at actual side boundaries. Projects, ILPD and APMP preserve the matching parameters. Review alignment after switching.
Optional lossless AIVU seam repair
Repair supported static calibration meshes with bright zigzags in the black masked region, preserving compressed media and timing in a new copy. Linear interpolation is used where needed. Unsupported structures are rejected; normal exports need no repair.
Requirements
Calibration above 8K includes Nikon 16512×8256, sample-tested 16000×8000, 12288×6144 and 16384×8192 SBS. PYXIS 12K / URSA Cine 12K workflows need system-decodable, geometrically matched references; no direct BRAW decoding. Re-encoding limits depend on hardware, dimensions and bit depth.
Preview Eye Swap is off for normal order, on for reversed order; exported-calibration swap normally stays off. Match Resolve Swap Eyes to the source.
APMP requires true stereo MV-HEVC MOV. No SBS-to-MV-HEVC conversion or cloud processing. Compatibility depends on lens, media, system and player.
Apple Silicon, macOS 26+. Paid once, no subscription, IAP or registration. Refresh verified Apple purchase authorization online every 14 days; verification failures pause new exports and preserve projects/files.
Independent product, not endorsed by Apple, Blackmagic Design or Canon. Resolve and playback tools are obtained separately.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Added Lens Size Reference: choose Eye Width (default) or Eye Height for height-referenced fisheye media with cropped sides.
Height mode retains the top/bottom fisheye arcs and generates masks at the actual side crop. Calibration projects retain the setting, and ILPD export and APMP conversion/import use the matching lens values.
Existing width workflows and older projects remain compatible. The option does not rotate or stretch media; choose according to the fisheye circle and review alignment.
