How Far turns the steps you already take into a season-long competition.
Your phone's step counter measures how far you walk each day. Every 500 metres earns your first level of the day, and each next level needs double the distance: 1 km, 2 km, 4 km and beyond. Levels add up for the whole season, and every three months the leaderboard starts fresh so newcomers always have a real shot.

• Distance, steps and estimated calories for today, plus the previous days at a swipe

• Works entirely from the motion sensor: no GPS, no location permission, no battery drain

• A seasonal leaderboard of everyone on How Far

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Sign in with Apple, Google or email
• Other players see only your display name, activity totals, level, gemstones and join date; never your email
• No ads, no analytics, no tracking, and you can delete your account and all its data from Settings at any time
