JotterJoe is a reading app for people who read to learn — a language learner working through a novel, a student with a stack of PDFs, or anyone who keeps meeting words they want to remember.

READ ANYTHING
• Import EPUB and PDF files from Files or iCloud Drive
• Save web articles from browser with the share sheet, or paste a link — JotterJoe strips the clutter and reads them like a book chapter
• Chapters, bookmarks and highlights in one Contents sheet; pick up exactly where you left off in every book
• Organize with categories, arrange your shelf by hand, mark books finished, and search books and words together
UNDERSTAND EVERY WORD
• Tap a word or select a passage to translate it inline, right in the text, with Apple's on-device translation
• Set your mother tongue once — translations and your word bank follow it
• Look Up opens the system dictionary; highlights, underlines and notes stay with the passage
BUILD A WORD BANK
• Save words from any book, translation or listening session
• Group by book, date or alphabet; mark words learned and watch the list shrink
• Hear any word pronounced with your device voice
LISTEN, TWO WAYS
• Listen: any chapter read aloud with your system voice, with word-by-word highlighting, speed control and a sleep timer
• Global Listen: transcribe the sounds around you or what your iPhone is playing — podcasts, videos, lectures — on your device, catch new words as they come up, and save them to your word bank
