Into the Darkness now includes every haunted stop in Lincoln — one pass, and Family Friendly Frights rides free with it.
Lincoln after dark has stories. Start your engine and let them ride shotgun.
Ghost Rides Lincoln is a cinematic, self-guided haunted driving tour of Lincoln, Nebraska — experienced entirely from your car. You follow a mapped route of real local landmarks, and at each stop a story performed by a Nebraska actor plays through your car speakers. Mansions, cemetery gates, a historic hotel, the old capitol site, Haymarket Alley, and the tunnels below 9th all have a legend waiting.
A REAL DRIVING ROUTE
The route is built around actual Lincoln locations, with turn-by-turn directions to the next stop opening in your maps app and a parking note for every location. The app orders stops from wherever you are and re-plans if you drive off course, so you can start anywhere and take them in any order.
PERFORMANCES, NOT NARRATION
Every stop is a dramatized local legend told by a Nebraska actor — theatrical, atmospheric, and built for a dark windshield and a good sound system. A dedicated Actors tab lets you meet the voices behind the stories.
SAFETY BY DESIGN
GPS detects when you arrive and unlocks that stop with a haptic nudge. Nothing ever auto-plays. Someone in the car presses play, on purpose, so the driver stays focused on the road. Built-in Rules of the Road guidance covers designating a navigator, parking legally, never trespassing, and keeping the volume respectful in residential neighborhoods.
PICK YOUR FLAVOR OF FEAR
Into the Darkness puts every haunted stop in Lincoln into one tour — and Family Friendly Frights, the milder version for younger riders, comes free with it. One purchase covers both.
ONE FLAT PRICE, NO SURPRISES
A tour pass is a one-time purchase at a flat price — never per stop, and it does not auto-renew. Your pass unlocks every stop for a 6-hour window that begins the moment you press play on your first story. Plenty of time for the full loop, a coffee stop, and a long quiet drive home.
PERFECT FOR
Halloween season nights out, date night, out-of-town visitors, family road trips, and anyone who wants a genuinely different way to see Lincoln. October is the obvious season, but the stories keep just fine year-round.
All stories are dramatized local legends and folklore, presented as entertainment.
Grab a navigator, fill the tank, and find out what Lincoln has been whispering about.
