HotPlot AI: Short Drama Maker
Plan, script & storyboard
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
HotPlot AI is a planning workspace for creators who make short dramas and vertical series.
PLAN THE STORY
• Create a drama with genre, theme, audience, episode count and running time
• Build a cast with goals, secrets and relationships
• Outline every episode: opening hook, main scene, conflict, twist and ending hook
• Write scenes with location, action, dialogue and voice-over
STORYBOARD AND SHOOT
• Turn scenes into storyboard shots with shot size, angle, movement and duration
• Attach reference photos from your library or camera
• Keep a shooting checklist for cast, locations, wardrobe, props and equipment
• Read lines on set with a built-in teleprompter: speed, type size, mirroring and countdown
DESIGN AND EXPORT
• Design a cover poster in 9:16, 16:9 or 1:1 and export PNG or JPEG
• Export scripts as TXT, storyboards and checklists as PDF, and full projects as JSON
OPTIONAL AI DRAFTING
• Ask for a drama concept, story outline, characters, episode outline, script, ending hooks, tighter dialogue or a pace review
• Nothing is sent until you confirm. Drafts are written by OpenAI and clearly marked as AI-generated
• Every AI result is a starting point for you to review and rewrite
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
• No account needed
• Projects are stored on your device. Only a brief you confirm is sent for AI drafting
• No ads, no tracking, no in-app purchases
HotPlot AI is a tool for writing and planning. It does not stream or play short dramas.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
This update makes empty screens easier to use. If you have no project yet, Storyboard, Design, and AI Writer can take you back to My Dramas. Search and filters now explain when nothing matches, new storyboards show a clearer first-shot hint, and checklist tasks ignore extra spaces.
