What's The Move is a city guide written by the people who actually go out.
Every place in here was put on the map by somebody standing in front of it, phone out, taking the photo right then. Not a stock image. Not a press shot. The reason to trust that a place is worth your evening is that someone was there and said so.
FIND SOMETHING TO DO
• A live map of your city, with real photos on every pin
• Filter by what you're in the mood for: food, night life, nature, culture, sport and more
• See what's open now, what's near you, and where people are actually turning up
• Every spot carries the name of whoever put it on the map
POST YOUR MOVE
• The camera opens first. You take the photo where you are, and that photo is the post
• You can only post a move at a place you are actually at. Your location is checked at the moment you press the shutter, and never in the background
• Add a caption if you want one. Most of the time the photo has already said it
BRING YOUR PEOPLE
• Follow friends, and keep a crew of close friends who get to see more
• Send a move straight into a chat, or share it with everyone
• Plan a night out and see who is going
• Go live from a place and let the people you choose see where you are, for as long as you choose
WHEREVER YOU ARE
Switch between cities and the whole app follows: map, feed and places. Open it at home or open it somewhere you have never been.
WHAT STAYS YOURS
Your check-ins are private. Other people see that a place is busy, never who is there. Location is only ever used while the app is open. There is no advertising in this app, no analytics, and nothing that follows you into anyone else's app or website.
A PLACE THAT STAYS WORTH BEING IN
Every account, place and post can be reported or blocked from inside the app. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours, and anything that breaks the rules comes down. You must be 16 or older to use What's The Move.

# What's new in 1.2.0
- **One card per spot.** For you now shows each spot once, ranked for you: what you like, how close it is, how fresh the moves are and who you follow.
- **The same move card everywhere.** For you, Friends and "See all moves from this spot" look the same, with the kind of move, likes and comments, plus rounded photos.
- **Directions, your way.** Pick Google Maps or Waze (Apple Maps too on iPhone).
- **Top contributor.** Bring people to a spot with your moves and your profile shows it.
- **Notifications that reach you.** A clearer ask, and it now works for every account you sign in with on the same phone.
- **Pick exactly who sees a move.** "Specific" is now a searchable list of people.
- **A calmer map.** Pins stay put while you zoom and pan; tap "Search this area" when you want new ones.
- **Smoother start.** The feed no longer swaps spots a second after opening, and "Spots around you" is more reliable.
- **Fixes.** "Followers only" moves are labelled correctly, a spot page no longer shows its first photo twice, posting a story fits on every screen again, and signing in no longer flashes the username screen.
- **No more guessing opening hours.** We removed "Open now" and "Closed" where we couldn't be sure. Tap Directions for the live hours.
