Passerelle brings together in one app what used to take three: an SSH terminal, a file transfer client and a command library.
Built for people who administer a few dozen machines — Linux servers, VPSs, network switches — and are tired of retyping the same addresses and the same commands.
HOST LIST
Your servers organized in groups and subgroups, with instant search. Passwords and private keys are kept in the system Keychain, never in a file.
A REAL TERMINAL
A true interactive xterm-256color terminal, not just a command runner. Open several terminals on the same server, in tabs. Sessions survive tab changes: switch to file transfer and come back, your shell is still there. On iPad, an accessory bar adds Esc, Tab, Ctrl and arrow keys to the keyboard.
FILE TRANSFER
Two-pane SFTP browser: explore the server and your device side by side, transfer, rename, create folders. Queue with progress. A folder your user can't open? Browse it with other credentials, which are never saved.
SNIPPETS
Your recurring command lines, filed in folders and inserted into the active terminal with one tap. No more notes file on the side.
TELNET
For switches and older equipment that offer nothing else. Login prompts are answered automatically.
NETWORK TOOLS
Ping and TCP port test, without leaving the app.
END-TO-END ENCRYPTED SYNC
Find your hosts, snippets and passwords on all your devices. Everything is encrypted on the device before it is sent, with a key derived from a passphrase the server does not know: it stores data it is unable to read. Syncing is optional — without an account, nothing leaves your device.
