Cribbage Nights: Crib Cards
Play Solo or with Friends
$1.99 · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Play a friend across the week, or the house for a quick one. A turn takes a minute, the deal is one neither side can cook, and there are no ads between hands — or at all.
Cribbage, solo or with a friend. No ads between hands, or anywhere. Full cribbage to 121, counted out on the cards.
PLAY A FRIEND
• Turn-based games through Game Center. Invite by Messages, and play when you each have a moment
• Over a lunch break or over a week. Choose how long a turn may wait: a day, three days, a week, or no clock at all
• You are told when it is your move, and warned before a turn runs out
• Real people, playing from their own phones. Nothing here is a bot wearing a name
PLAY ALONE
• Three opponents. Casual plays a reasonable game and will let you win. Standard keeps a good hand and pegs sensibly. Expert discards on expected value and looks ahead when pegging
• The house plays from its own six cards and what it has already seen. It cannot see your hand, because it is never given it
• Works fully offline
A DEAL YOU CAN CHECK
• Online, both players seed the shuffle, and neither can see what it produced before committing to it. Every hand is replayed and checked when it ends
• No difficulty that quietly adjusts. No better cut for the computer
• No ads between hands. No ads anywhere
THE SHOW, COUNTED OUT
Fifteens, pairs, runs, the flush, his nobs — each one counted on the cards themselves, so you see where the points came from rather than watch a number jump. The rules are in the app, for learning or for settling it.
THE HAND OF THE DAY
Five cards, the same five for everybody, every day. Count them out and keep the streak going.
EIGHT DECKS
Printer's Devil, Small Hours, House Rules, Library Voice, Sunday Best, Fleurdelisé, O Canada and Old Glory — each one a whole table, not just a card back. You start with one; the rest are in the shop. Yours is yours; a deck is never forced on an opponent.
BUILT TO BE USED
VoiceOver reads every card, every combination and every score. Reduced Motion is honoured throughout. iPhone and iPad, portrait and landscape. English and Canadian French.
Keep a record: wins, losses, skunks, and who you beat.

Play someone in the same room. In Play a friend, choose Play someone nearby: the game runs live over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and is saved on both phones, so you can stop and pick it back up together.
A new deck, Spem Reduxit: New Brunswick's galley on its gold field, with the Fundy tide to play on.
In online games, the notification that it's your move now says what they did: the card they played, a go, a new hand, or the points they counted.
Settings › Count speed has a Slow option, for more time to follow each combination.
The score fits at every text size, and more of the app is in Canadian French.
