SOURCE! News Reader
News first. Escape algorithms
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Take back your morning. Handpicked RSS Packs of the best independent journalism, in the order it was published, not when some billionaire flings it at you.
Take Back Your Morning.
SOURCE! is where you check the news before you open social media. No algorithm decides what lands in front of you, no billionaire-owned feed reorders your reality to chase engagement, and no outrage loop dictates your morning. Just handpicked RSS Packs of vetted, independent journalism—and the feeds you choose—delivered in the exact order they were published.
Before you step into the noise, get the full picture on your terms.
WHY SOURCE! FIRST?
Zero Algorithms: Every story comes straight from an RSS feed in real-time. Nothing is boosted because it's controversial; nothing is hidden to keep you scrolling.
Curated Packs: RSS Packs are starter packs for your news feed. Jumpstart your reading with collections like Headlines: Best in the World, or build your own custom Packs around topics and local outlets.
Context Without the Outrage: Use Buzz to see what journalists and creators are discussing on Bluesky without the like/repost counts or outrage bait.
Complete Control: Add your own custom RSS feeds, save stories for later, or export your Packs anywhere as open RSS feeds—because your feed belongs to you, not a platform.
Check the news first. Own your mind.
