Kashef Al Tayeb is a guidance tool that helps you check oud wood, incense and oud oil before you buy.
Camera Scan
Photograph a piece of oud and AI analyses its veins, colour, surface and edges, then shows authenticity signs, the likely type, an estimated grade, and the next practical test to try.
Manual Test
Simple questions about scent, smoke, weight and colour let you check a piece yourself, plus a dedicated oud oil test using paper, heat and longevity checks.
Types Guide
More than 20 oud types, including Cambodian, Indian, Merauke, Sayufi, Malaysian and Vietnamese, with the marks of each type, common fakes and how to spot them, and tips on choosing and burning.
Ask the Expert
A chat focused on oud, incense and perfume that answers questions about types, approximate prices, testing and storage.
Scan History
Your latest results are saved on your device so you can return to them.
Subscriptions
Camera scans are available in three monthly plans: 20, 50 or 100 scans, plus 5 free extra scans with any plan. The manual test, guide and expert chat are free.
Subscriptions renew automatically every month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel them in your Apple ID settings.
Note: results are AI-generated visual indicators, not a certificate of authenticity. Hands-on testing by burning, scent and weight remains the basis.
