The Sorting Room! Through the door behind the counter, a second room to make your own: a sorting frame, pigeonholes, mail sacks, a stove with the kettle on, a rug, the postie's bike and a calendar, with four looks for each in the shop. It opens free on Day 3, and the office pet moves its bed in by the stove. The morning sort: once a day, if you fancy it, a bundle of letters, postcards and little parcels to sort into the village's pigeonholes. No clock and no penalty: a letter in the wrong hole just slides back. Coins for finishing, a bit more for a perfect sort, and the village map on the wall for the houses that only have a name. Postcards: send a picture of either room, stamped and franked, or save it to your photos. Decor sets: four looks across both rooms (Village Green, Harbour, Edwardian, Botanical), with a plaque when you finish one.

Hallowe'en at the post office! Until 31 October: spooky parcels at the wrapping desk, a pumpkin on the counter, and a queue that's come in fancy dress. On twist days, little trick-or-treaters pop in: one tap on the sweet jar each, quick, or they'll play a (harmless) trick. On the 31st there's a special Hallowe'en Night shift with fog, a full moon and a record for the most treats. Then it's Bonfire Night until 5 November, with firework stamps and sparklers in the window. Finish any shift during the festivities to unlock a pumpkin post box app icon, yours to keep. It all comes back every year by itself. Back for a visit: liked an earlier office? Go back to any you've run and work it again from Day 1, with its own service and twist. Each keeps its own days, and the office you run now stays just as you left it.

The Post Office Makeover! Make it yours: sixty pieces of decor in a new Decor shop, from wallpaper, floors and counters to a view of the lane outside, a radio, a notice board, a postcard line and an office cat or dog with a bed of its own. Seasonal sets for Christmas, Valentine's and the summer. Rise through the ranks: every parcel you send counts towards your rank, from Counter Clerk to Legend of the Post and beyond, and each rank brings a piece of decor. Five upgrades now go up to level 5. Every office is its own place: after Day 30, choose where to move next. Postal orders on market day in Market Town, ship's mail and cheeky gulls on the coast, express bags and courier rushes in the City, registered post and the collection hatch at Central, and passports under inspection at Head Office. Your decor, rank, Stamp Album and records come with you. Each office is a little busier than the last, and if a day gets the better of you twice, a quiet morning gives everyone a little more patience. A little challenge every day: one small goal on the menu each day, for coins and a stamp. Fill a card of seven for a bonus. Miss a day? No matter. And your post office now follows you to a new phone: signed in to iCloud, your progress comes back after a reinstall or on a new iPhone or iPad.
