Muffled sound after a shower, the rain, a pool or a sink? That is water sitting in the speaker grille. WRING pushes it out with a controlled sound cycle in about a minute.
WATER EJECT
Two passes, 110–1500 Hz in total: a low sweep of 110–900 Hz for the bottom loudspeaker, then a high sweep of 300–1500 Hz for the earpiece at the top. Both are shaped to move droplets out of the mesh instead of just making noise. Volume goes to 100% for the cycle and your own level comes back afterwards. Still muffled? One tap runs it again — a soaked grille sometimes needs two rounds.
DUST CLEAN
Crackle and buzz are usually lint, not water. A 35-second shake works it loose from the grille.
SPEAKER TEST & TONE GENERATOR
Left, right and full range, plus a frequency sweep, so you know which speaker is weak — and whether the speaker is the problem at all. Generate exact tones in Hz or kHz for tuning and testing.
NOISE METER
Read the sound level around you in decibels.

WHY THERE IS NO ULTRASOUND
WRING does not use ultrasound. The cycle uses audible frequencies at normal playback level — the level a song plays at, aimed at moving water. Nothing is overdriven. Keep the phone away from your ear while it runs.
FOR BEST RESULTS
1. Wipe the outside dry.
2. Put the phone face down on a flat surface.
3. Start the cycle and let it finish.
Run it as soon as you notice the problem. Water left in the mesh dries into mineral deposits that dull the speaker permanently.
WHAT IT CANNOT DO
WRING clears the grille. It cannot dry water that has already reached the inside of the phone. If your phone was submerged, power it off, let it dry and take it to a repair shop.
PRIVACY
Your photos, microphone readings and test results stay on the phone and are never uploaded. No account. Ads appear only in the free version. The microphone is used only for the noise meter and the microphone check, and nothing is ever recorded. Your photo library is scanned on the device and nothing is deleted without your confirmation. Purchases are processed by Apple; your subscription status is checked by our payment provider with an anonymous ID. Everything except the network speed test works offline.

WRING Pro removes the limit and the ads and lets you start cycles from Apple Watch or with Siri. Pro is available as a subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. The weekly plan starts with a 3-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
